1. Sometimes I want to capture the entire image, but the document detection forces the camera to only capture a portion of the image and cuts off content (primarily when I'm scanning a whiteboard)So far I have recomended this app to 15 people better than just taking a picture with camera.
2. Genius Scan also includes auto edge detection, which automatically straightens your scans and removes any unwanted objects from the edges.Better than the rest and I don't even have the 'pro' version.
3. Give me control of the shutter, and do the edge detection on the resulting static image, and we'll both be happy! I can interrupt the magic by tapping the shutter button, but then it doesn't even attempt an automatic crop.
4. Considering how well, and how fast it scans, I consider this a bargain. So close to being the perfect replacement for my old Chinese scanner app! Unfortunately, the "Magic mode" is just too obnoxious.
5. Does exactly what it says... and does it perfectly! I use this on a semi-daily basis and this thing scans everything that has 4 sides flawlessly, picking up details that I had to verify when I first started using it because I thought it could never get that.
6. Although, I would love a toggle button on the scanner for the document detection.
7. Other apps like Adobe or Microsoft Office Lens scan great, but both require an expensive subscription.
8. It has a clean and intuitive interface that makes it easy to get started scanning documents in seconds.
9. Keep up the great work!I've been using this app for a couple years and I've had a great experience.
10. The app also features advanced editing tools that allow you to crop, rotate, and adjust the brightness and contrast of your scans.
11. Definitely consider giving this app a try if you need a PDF scanner. This is a fast, easy-to-use, and powerful document scanner.
scans not received at the designated e-mail account
Have used GS for years and always worked as I wanted. I largely save my scans to my Box.com cloud account, and it has always allowed me to select the folder into which I scan a document. Recently, however, I select Box and it scans immediately to Box, but I MUST SEND TO APPROPRIATE FILE FOLDER. It is not now giving me a chance to select appropriate folder. Must get this corrected as I cannot use GS if I cannot select the folder to which I scan. Please give me guidance. Thanks.
I can not get into my app
I cannot get my Genius scan to send to the right place
