1. Horrible company in every way but above all, DON'T DOWNLOAD THIS APP!! I just uninstalled after seeing the required permissions! It captures video..captures audio..able to snoop/edit external storage..has access to your exact location..access to bluetooth and wifi scanning..ability to wake the screen and the app stays running in the background 25/8..and even MORE.

2. I was not aware that there is customer service or helpline to call but regardless I can not imagine how they would be of assistance in making the app and device connect over the phone.Can't even make a payment on this "app" even though I've been told I need to use it to make a payment.

3. So instead of making a required payment, they will simply take the app payment as EXTRA money down on your overall debt :) Decent app, needs to be more informative of what is being paid for on it though.

4. Seriously? Clicked on "make payments" and it brought me to a screen where it said either...."delete payment method" or "start new payment method" even though my card info was already on there.

5. How hard can it possibly be to take someone's money....seriouslySpent 1.5 hours on the phone trying to reach customer service.

6. Then on top of that, throw in a couple false positives for absolutely no reason while you're driving and lights start flashing and horn blowing almost causing an accident because it startled the living heel out of me.Worst experience.

7. I have been going in circles and my only other option is to call and get no real person to helpDO NOT USE SMART START.

8. And they deduct money from your bank account without authorization for any amount they choose.

9. When you call any of their provided contact numbers, it is nearly impossible to get a live representative on the phone.

10. This company lies and takes advantage of people going through a difficult situation.

11. Called the number and got bounced around for awhile til I finally was able to talk to someone and they took my payment.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Smart Start Client Portal Issues
