1. Whatever you call it, MFA has been too annoying for too long, interrupting people when they’re trying to get work done. * Displaying push notifications when there’s a new login attempt, so you don’t have to go hunting for the OneLogin Protect app among the dozens of apps you probably have on your phone. * Eliminating the frustration of manually entering a one-time password in a short time period. * Sending notifications to your watch, so you can Accept or Deny login attempts without pulling out your phone.
2. OneLogin Protect asks you to confirm login attempts on your phone or watch, to better secure your organization’s apps.
3. After you type your username and password into OneLogin web portal ( ), OneLogin Protect asks you to confirm the login on your phone.
4. On the other hand, if someone tries to log in as you, you click Deny, they’re shut out of OneLogin, and OneLogin notifies your IT department so they can follow up.
5. OneLogin Protect is a rethink of multifactor authentication, sometimes called MFA, two-factor authentication, or 2FA.
6. To use the OneLogin Protect app, you must have an active OneLogin account.
7. Click Accept, and you’re signed into OneLogin.
8. Alternatively, you can also tab SEND OTP to push the OTP (one-time password).
9. This may already have been provided to you by your organization.
10. Contact your IT department if you are unsure or need information about your account.
1. Expected a headache if you change phones. The notifications never come through until I actually physically unlock my phone, and half the time the response to the push notification doesn't go through.Does what I need of it, though it would be nice if it could consistently register responses from Wear OS devices so I don't always need to take my phone out of my pocket to log in to something.Restore existing OTP account is removed.
2. On restricted areas, we are not allowed to bring our phone.Horrible. I bought a new phone and kept the same number but I won't ever get any new notification and I HAVE TO HAVE THIS for my job so I can't perform my job correctly.
3. Now I can't get on my work app, so I can't find a customer support email to correct this,I deleted app re added still said it notification nothing come through, one log in can you help with this,I need my work app, work can't help I askedNotification used to come for approval.
4. Like a lot of people here, it worked fine but once I got a new phone & downloaded the app a 2nd time, no push notifications come through although it says it sending one to my phone.
5. I have to bring my phone every time I need to login.
6. Now it's not showing and need to open the app to get the code...which is tedious when environment is tight and every sec is importantThey removed backup and restore.
7. Hope HEB drops this and upgrades to more reliable recourse.I changed my phone, and I kept the same number.
8. Now, it is not present in the app.How are we supposed to do an account recovery from a recovery package PDF if there is no longer a restore button? This is a major oversight and there is no guidance online.
9. I'm looking for an alternative app instead but...The backup and restore version was removed from the last update.
10. I was using this feature to switch my phone.
11. I also need it for my job so, it's not helpful or reliable at all.
