GlobalProtect Customer Insights

1. Fix your awful garbage.Besides the constant notification the global protect is running although I have logged out, I always need to delete the app data to make a new connection to the vpn server... Worst experience I ve ever had with an app.Excellent app.

2. If only there was a 0 star option.Really? Always running in the background when no VPN connection is required? I've noticed the super buggy Linux app does the same thing, and best of all, the firewall appliance at the other end doesn't support secure renegotiation, a 2009 vulnerability that causes a DoS with their own Linux app.

3. After security update on Pixel 2, running Android 10 my phone turns on with an always on notification from global protect.

4. Also can this thing have multiple gateways configured? I have a need for multiple gateway configurations and have then be easily selected.Persistent notification on newest version of Android.

5. I always get a "global protect is running" notification even when the VPN is not connected.

6. what highschooler made this for their hackathon?Constant notification that GlobalProtect is Running.

7. The persistent notification is also a pain but not being able to use the app as I did two days ago is worse.

8. According to KB articles, Palo Alto is aware and doesn't plan to do anything about it! I say this just to point out that issues go deeper than just the apps they create.

9. Lacks settings to mute / configure which notification are displayed.

10. Obviously I could care less if it's "running" I care if it's connected, I care if it's WAS connected and now is not connected.

11. also you cant change any settings, it always defaults to the worst option and you have to change it every time.
