Sleep Cycle Customer Insights

1. Only issue I have is having paid for the premium service I don't have access to the who's snoring feature even after reinstalling the app as you can hear when my partner is taking or coughing in another room in the recordings it makes which impacts the programs perception of my sleep quality... Hopefully there's a fix for thatUsed to be 5 stars but it keeps putting my phone on do not disturb and overrides my settings for it.

2. I've reinstalled the app, we'll see if that fixes the issueGreat app, the easy wake up feature has almost completely eliminated my personal habit of sleeping through my alarms, although I do have a critical problem where sometimes my alarm never goes off.

3. About a week after I paid for the entire year, it stopped recording everything and the sleep tracking is not accurate at all... That being said, the sounds and stories are still a great tool for falling asleep.I happily used the app for a few years, until now.

4. I did just get a new phone, so it's possible there's something wrong with the permissions making it so that the app can't wake the phone, but everything looks right.The recording feature worked great until I had paid the premium.

5. today I set it before I went to sleep, woke up late, and then when I opened the app to see what happened, the alarm began.

6. But recently, it seems that the alarm snoozes itself without me reaching over to my screen and doing so, therefore, i don't actually wake up when my alarm goes off.

7. I think this can be avoided if every night, i go into my alarm settings, choose the same alarm sound i use every night, and crank up the volume, but it's quite annoying.

8. I don't really care why this new (screaming) alarm comes in at this point, uninstalling the app.I like the app, but for the last several weeks it has had a few problems.

9. The alarm didn't go off, or struggling to turn off the alarm without force closing the app.

10. I set up a 7 minute snooze time and the alarm goes off every 2-3 minutes.

11. I don't read the ad, or message that comes with this new alarm, so I don't know what it's for, I just scramble to shut it off.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Sleep Cycle Issues

1. Fix Sleep Cycle Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Sleep Cycle: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Sleep Cycle App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Sleep Cycle" » Open Sleep Cycle: Sleep Tracker » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Sleep Cycle » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Sleep Cycle: Sleep Tracker app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Sleep Cycle servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Sleep Cycle: Sleep Tracker" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Sleep Cycle app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Sleep Cycle might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Sleep Cycle. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Sleep Cycle then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Sleep Cycle not working


2. Fix Sleep Cycle Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Sleep Cycle be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Sleep Cycle not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Sleep Cycle may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Good evening
    I have been trialling on the free version for the past week. I would like to upgrade to the premium version however this is far too expensive. I see today I have an offer of £11.99 however this is still far too expensive.

    I also have to question the accuracy of this app as I got up in the early hours this morning and the app still said I was off to sleep. I would Consider the premium version if only the price was a lot lower is there anything you can do to help me please
