1. The app could be improved by giving some indication as to the open/closed status of the blinds as there's currently no way of knowing whether an instruction has been carried out or not but I gather this is impossible.Unable to get Google assistant to recognize command for favourite #2 setting.

2. Definitely not a range issue (hub is though thin plasterboard wall) and some rollers do trigger on set schedule , same don't 2) You can't set separate schedules for the blinds in the same room.

3. Instead, you must use data and drain your battery for the feature to work, no thanks.I've had 12 blinds for 2 months now.

5. Very easy to use and setup, works as advertised! Only 4 stars because the sunrise/set feature doesn't work unless you allow the app to constantly run geo in the background.

6. Most of the app is intuitive and thought so far we've used it for blinds, it perfectly handles TD/BU (Top Down/Bottom Up) blinds which are more complex from an automation perspective.

7. It's like the hub asks the blinds to lower, but doesn't check if it worked/retry.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Neo Smart Blinds Issues

1. Fix Neo Smart Blinds Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Neo Smart Blinds: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Neo Smart Blinds App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Neo Smart Blinds" » Open Neo Smart Blinds » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Neo Smart Blinds » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Neo Smart Blinds app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Neo Smart Blinds servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Neo Smart Blinds" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Neo Smart Blinds app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Neo Smart Blinds might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Neo Smart Blinds. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Neo Smart Blinds then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Neo Smart Blinds not working


2. Fix Neo Smart Blinds Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Neo Smart Blinds be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Neo Smart Blinds not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Neo Smart Blinds may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • One of our smart blinds is no longer connected to my smart phones. It will still work with the controller but no matter how many times I’ve reset it, it will not connect to my phone.
