1. So yes it Sucks!!Never really had problems but lately The app keeps saying Alert Host name Mismatch and im not able to view the different links on the left side ( like where it says Maintenance..etc). Other than that it's greatAfter entering my login info it just stays on a blank screen.

2. But as a frontend software engineer, there are a lot of small things that make the app feel cheap and unpolished: - lack of animations/ transitions; - navigation links are small; - font sizes are a bit small/ not aligned well; - some pages do not have consistent styling or spacing.

3. None of these things really affect the usability of the app, but they do make me question the quality.The worst thing is for everyone to think you can download apps on your phone to pay bills.

4. After entering username and password, it gets stuck in that page forever.You select 'Remember Me'and it NEVER does and you have to log in the long way Every Single Time.

5. I put my email in and my password because that's all I can do and it comes back in red letters no such account basically....DUH!!! I'm trying to set up and it's not able to.

6. Well all the apps on your phone causes you to have to much storage in your phone an create problems with your phone.

7. Fingerprint authentication stopped working for me with this app and then sometimes wouldn't take my password.It allows me to login once in a bluemoon.

8. I was able to log in without issue and access all the different parts of the app.

9. I dont see a need to install the app.Useless. Formatting is terrible, doesn't log in half the time.

10. Have a great day maybe someday the electronic system will shut down from all these apps.

11. Also wanting to allow access to my photos an contacts is my personal business not Cortland.

1. Fix Cortland Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Cortland: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Cortland App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Cortland" » Open Cortland » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Cortland » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Cortland app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Cortland servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Cortland" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Cortland app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Cortland might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Cortland. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Cortland then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Cortland not working

2. Fix Cortland Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Cortland be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Cortland not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Cortland may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
