1. If anyone has a solution to go around this charge or how to recover the "coupon"; kindly post it in the community page area, or reply to this "review"...at least I gave it 2 stars :-)It does the job.

2. The wall with comments doesn't load, I can't send or receive messages, and logging in is different every time.

8. (Also, would be great if apartments had an override option to allow residents to post freely during times of crisis).Working again finally.

9. Currently it will charge you a few on each transaction you make, and rather than letting you input custom amounts, it requires you only pay what is currently due, past due, or if you want to prepay, you must pay the entire amount.

10. The biggest issue that bugs me, is that these people charge $5.49 for a "convenience charge" on every payment made here; recurring or one-time.

11. Also, it's extremely tedious to mark 100 messages as "read" one at a time.This is the slowest buggiest app I have ever used.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ActiveBuilding Issues

1. Fix ActiveBuilding Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart ActiveBuilding: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ActiveBuilding App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ActiveBuilding" » Open ActiveBuilding » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ActiveBuilding » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ActiveBuilding app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ActiveBuilding servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ActiveBuilding" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ActiveBuilding app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ActiveBuilding might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ActiveBuilding. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ActiveBuilding then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ActiveBuilding not working


2. Fix ActiveBuilding Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ActiveBuilding be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ActiveBuilding not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ActiveBuilding may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
