Why should I report an Issue with Docutain: PDF scanner app, OCR?

3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. For a future release, I'd like to see: 'batch' scanning - it's quite cumbersome to be returned to page, then click camera again; better treatment of line breaks in OCR mode - one can find text from separate lines mixed up now and again.

2. Docutain offers every possible feature you will ever need and then some - auto capture, image editing, ocr capabilities and so much moreand btw, did I mention that its FREE!?! Kudos to the Developers & Designers! Thank you!Its great except the last update wrecked the scanner.

3. The 'banding' of areas of scanning could improve - frequently one scans similar size pages together - i would find it useful for the app to have a 'memory' of previous scan.

4. How can you know what the company with change with you purchase now?Everything is nice and good but when choosing multiple images from gallery to make a document, the pages are arranged randomly and not in the order they were chosen.

5. If this problem isn't fixed then I have to switch to some other app since arranging 60 or so pages takes a lot of time and I can't give it so much time when there are alternatives availableVery very good.

7. You're doing amazing work!Watch out! Classic bait-and-switch tactic - pay for a perpetual Pro license then the company changed Pro to a subscription.

8. Made me look for an alternative.Beautifully designed, simple to use, full-featured app that effectively decluttered my life! I needed a receipt scanner to help me organize receipts for tax purposes.

9. Manual mode and auto mode both error out when taking pictures 80 percent of the time.

10. If I can batch documents together when I scan them, I should be able to add documents to that batch at a later time.

11. To improve the scanning let me take a pic then do your thing to find the paper edges.

1. Fix Docutain Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Docutain: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Docutain App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Docutain" » Open Docutain: PDF scanner app, OCR » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Docutain » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Docutain: PDF scanner app, OCR app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Docutain servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Docutain: PDF scanner app, OCR" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Docutain app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Docutain might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Docutain. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Docutain then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Docutain not working

2. Fix Docutain Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Docutain be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Docutain not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Docutain may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
