About Workforce Tools

1. This application will provide mobile capability for users to have a centralized experience to view time cards, review schedules, and submit time off requests across various workforce management platforms.

2. This application will integrate with any user's designated workforce management system and is easily configurable to provide a seamless workforce experience!

Work Customer Insights

1. It's great for if you just want to stare at a spinning orange wheel, but it's bad for viewing and managing ones schedule or timecards or clocking in/out (because it doesn't actually seem to have those features, it just does the loading screen thing which is nice and all but mostly useless).Since 6/1 I can log in but all I can see is my next shift.

2. Update: changed the schedule to show monthly instead of weekly! Yay, thank you so much for listening and responding! My primary complaint about this app is that it doesn't work at all.

3. Maybe even a widget? There is a lot of potential, even if some of the features aren't acceptable due to privacy concerns (like the "changes to your schedule" notification or "shift starting soon").Not a huge fan of the update.

4. This makes navigating the menus very annoying.I had been having problems for past few months with the circle that continued to spin and not doing anything else no matter how many times I uninstalled and reinstalled.

5. Other than that it's pretty great, love having access to everything in one place (schedule, time cards, health check, payslips).

6. Most people don't care and 2 factor authentication is just an inconvenience.Worked fine until the recent major update.

7. Can't switch pages without the UI getting stuck halfway between the two pages, sometimes forcing you to close the app (and make you login again) just to hope it doesn't do it to you again.

8. Really preferred being able to see the monthly schedule, not just one week at a time.

9. Again, after this latest update, I can't get into my schedule or my time cards.

10. But after reading one of the reviews where someone mentioned going into your settings, clicking on apps and clearing the cache that it would work.

11. I've cleared cache, cleared data, turned Wi-Fi on and off, and uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and no updates are available.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Work Issues

1. Fix Work Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

  1. Restart Work: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Work App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Work" » Open Workforce Tools » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Work » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Workforce Tools app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Work servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Workforce Tools" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Work app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Work might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Work. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Work then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Work not working

2. Fix Work Server issues & Internet Connection

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Work be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Work not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Work may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

Reported Issues

  • Hi! I’m requesting support with the workforce tools app, it suddenly logged me out a few days ago and now won’t let me log back in. Every time I try to sign in or change my password it says the page has expired and gives no other options for what to do to fix that. My coworkers who also use the app aren’t experiencing this issue so I’m not sure what to do from here.

    Thank you!
