My Work Customer Insights

1. App keeps saying "connection lost" each time you want to use it and once it says that, it won't work until you either restart ur phone or delete the app and reinstall it.

2. Giving 4 stars because I love the idea of being able to clock in and out from my phone instead of using paper/cards or struggling to get logged into a company computer.

3. For the leading time management company in the world, I'd assume more respect to all your assets.The punch tile should have a facility to tell you what time it is, and whether or not you've been punched in and for how long.

4. Now it takes 3 times minimum to log in to punch as the first couple of times it will pretend to log in, not load my account, but will then say I was logged out and have to sign back in when I just logged in and verified through the text code.

5. Maybe finish an app before you make another, which seems to be the present strategy: just make a new app to fill in the functionality the last app doesn't provide lol.It's garbage.

6. ALSO: why is there no biometric log in option? ALSO: Sometimes when I get a "Connection Lost" error, the only way to resolve it is to force-quit the app and restart it, even when network connectivity is available.This app is nearly unusable.

7. When time is of the essence I don't appreciate needing to take 5 minutes to make a single punch every time that I need to punch in or out.

8. Logging in is fine, but other than that it is absolute garbage, doesn't work properly.

9. When you accidentally enter your password wrong you can't do it a second time... you have to back all the way out, force close the app, start over from scratch.

10. I'm sitting here looking at the message wondering what??? I had just barely logged in to check my schedule, but get kicked out immediately after login.

11. I have to either restart my phone or delete the app and reinstall it b4 it work.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix My Work Issues

1. Fix My Work Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart My Work: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the My Work App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "My Work" » Open My Work » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for My Work » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear My Work app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from My Work servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "My Work" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check My Work app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, My Work might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall My Work. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall My Work then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing My Work not working


2. Fix My Work Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make My Work be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to My Work not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, My Work may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
