Argus Customer Insights

1. Touch setup and it says location access is required, accept, then setup button disappears.

2. #1 I didn't work out, #2 there's no place to enter and #3 all I want to do is track a few things like blood pressure (among other things).

3. $29.99 a year totally fits my budget and I'm determined to follow through this time!Loved Argus when I had iPhone but it is waay simplified on Google pixel android.

4. Now the app is absolutely worse than useless.When you buy the scale it says no setup required.

5. I would knock the premium version cost down a dollar or two, but other than that, i recommend this app.Need help to stay committed to my goal.

6. i like that you can scan bar codes to get more accurate calorie counting and that you can monitor your sleep and many other things.

7. Plus I like how I can keep record of my calories, my steps, water intake, my weight etc.. all in the app.

8. Giving location access before touching setup (after reinstalling) and the same thing, no setup button.

9. Download the app, and the Smart Scale setup is buggy on pixel but not sure.

10. This for me is a good app and if you purchase premium it is $29.99 a YEAR! I've tried lots of other apps like this and never stuck to it as they were too expensive.

11. However it constantly keeps making my phone extremely hot and my phone repeatedly says the app is overloading the system.. Uninstalled.Was 5 star.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Argus Issues

1. Fix Argus Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Argus: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Argus App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Argus" » Open Argus: Activity & Step Tracker » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Argus » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Argus: Activity & Step Tracker app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Argus servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Argus: Activity & Step Tracker" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Argus app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Argus might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Argus. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Argus then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Argus not working


2. Fix Argus Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Argus be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Argus not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Argus may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • When I try to connect Garmin,Googlefit,Strava from the devices and apps menu, I get an error page with the following error

    "Oops!An error has occured, but we're working to fix it as soon as we can!

    Please help to have this resolved, I signed up for Argus premium to better track my activities but this is a real hindrance.

  • Dear sir or ms,

    I downloaded this app expecting it to have feature in hebrew and in kilogarams. I have been unable to calibrate the app to my comfortable use. Therefore I am asking you to refund my 99 shekels.

    Please be quick about it.
