1. *8mo update: Updates are infrequent (Nice!) but "WOW!" in user voice features! GOAT app!?Waking Up is REALLY beyond a meditation app! The very first thing I appreciated about Waking Up was that the free trial required no form of payment.
2. Is there a better way to view "listened to" list, or creating a "bookmark" page- where u can save bookmarks to come back to? I also had a hard time differentiating between downloads & "saved", and where each were locatedThe intro said "most meditations are around 10 mins in length" which is fantastic, because that's what I need the most.
3. Sam's voice and the minimalist, to-the-point guidance he offers has been the right balance of instruction and quiet for me.Sam's course - and it really is a progression based course - teaches so much more than stress relief.
4. This course changes your experience of reality! The instruction is clear and helpful, the app is clean and intuitive, and the customer support (if you need anything) is phenomenal.
5. Even with a fair amount of exposure to different approaches to meditation, I found the 30 day intro course to be very useful.
6. [Update: Issue resolved, thank you!] Would really appreciate a feature to keep the screen awake while the app is on, as I don't know why but my phone begins stuttering a few seconds after the screen turns off if I have a session playing.
7. Some good insights too, though.Having used other mindfulness and meditation apps, I find that l Sam's approach resonates with me more than others.
8. Other than that, the app is great and the staff are really friendly.Pros: this app got me into a regular meditation practice.
9. A suggestion for the app: I have a hard time remembering where i last left off/ where a series i had last seen a topic i wanted to listen to.
10. Over 6mos of multiple times daily use, it has remained 100%! glitch and crash free, which in and of itself is totally amazing these days of 'minimal acceptable performance' app launches.
11. It's like being a kid in a candy store!I have tried meditating on my own without assistance, with the assistance of books on tape, using different styles, etc., without "success".
