Why should I report an Issue with Jottacloud: Safe Cloud Storage?

1. AppContacter will directly Email your issue/feedback to an apps's customer service once you report an issue and with lots of issues reported, companies will definitely listen to you.
2. Pulling issues faced by users like you is a good way to draw attention of Jottacloud to your problem using the strength of crowds.
3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. What makes it basically unusable for me is that it now throws ALL photos and videos from ALL folders and across all devices into one bug messy combined photo/video list that they leave up to you to then again sort after it has been backed up.... WHY? Keep folder names/sorting from phone AND seperate the backups from different devices.

For now, clearly backing up thru computer is only optionThe app works well and works as intended, it's a nicely designed app, the pricing is great for the storage options available, 🔺Update, I'm happy there is a memories option for the app, this definitely makes switching over from Google photos a lot easier of a transition.

You can still do this in a separate app, and Jottacloud will backup the new file/version, but it's not as convenient as editing the picture right in Jottacloud would've been.Jottacloud doesn't automatically upload my pictures, it doesn't update the picture folder(doesn't show pictures taken after Feb this year), and manual Back-up doesn't work either.

4. Corrupted files, no backup, and when you pay in advance customer service ignore you because you already paid.I'm using this mainly to backup photos from my phone, and so far it's been working well.

5. The new AI-featured image search works pretty well, so I could see myself using Jottacloud instead of Google Photos as my main photo library.

6. This app however used to be pretty good, but now I can only see my photos, not my backed up files.I will have to review this app again and get storage safe,for my Art and photos.

7. Also, if you try to change which folders are to be backed up during this process, the app hangs and have to be force closed (which also causes the "building media library" to start over).

8. I have ~200GB of media on my phones (videos & photos, about 5000 files) and it would frequently start over the scanning process.

9. There are some minor issues but the support team is very responsive, so I'm positive these can be fixed.Paid 2 whole months where it didn't work and corrupted files.

10. It would've been nice if Jottacloud also allowed you to do some basic photo editing like rotation, cropping and brightness.

11. I hope they're safe here and easy too retrieve..The "building media library" process takes ages.

1. Fix Jottacloud Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Jottacloud: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Jottacloud App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Jottacloud" » Open Jottacloud: Safe Cloud Storage » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Jottacloud » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Jottacloud: Safe Cloud Storage app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Jottacloud servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Jottacloud: Safe Cloud Storage" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Jottacloud app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Jottacloud might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Jottacloud. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Jottacloud then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Jottacloud not working

2. Fix Jottacloud Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Jottacloud be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Jottacloud not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Jottacloud may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
