1. never seen a program like it.AVG Cleaner, in my opinion is the best cleaning app on the market that has a basic FREE version that is GREAT! Of course, you can always upgrade, but I found that the basic version is just great for my Samsung Galaxy phone....Not too many ads, thank goodness, but if they offer a 30 day trial for the premium version, then I would subscribe...My device wasn't cheap, nor super expensive but I like to keep it running efficiently for the money I paid for it...I would definitely recommend this!I've been using AVG free edition since 04 and it's never let me down.

2. Made the mistake of accidentally granting permission for it to have access to my photos and videos so when it did a "quick clean" it erased all my photos and videos! Yes it was a mistake on my part to not back them up but AVG doesn't have any sort of recovery feature if something like this happens.

3. I am a bit confused about what happened to the deep cleaning (hidden cache), it wants to to upgrade to premium but it also says, in order to deep clean it needs "more premissions".

4. I enabled the permissions from the FAQs and it still didn't work, I tried to enable the modify settings slider but it still didn't work.Dead on arrival.

5. Good app for cleaning! It was where you could get a deep clean and no add watching, but now unless you wanna pay, you have to watch a small add or 2 in order to get done what you need.

1. Fix AVG Cleaner Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart AVG Cleaner: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the AVG Cleaner App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "AVG Cleaner" » Open AVG Cleaner – Storage Cleaner » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for AVG Cleaner » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear AVG Cleaner – Storage Cleaner app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from AVG Cleaner servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "AVG Cleaner – Storage Cleaner" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check AVG Cleaner app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, AVG Cleaner might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall AVG Cleaner. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall AVG Cleaner then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing AVG Cleaner not working

2. Fix AVG Cleaner Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make AVG Cleaner be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to AVG Cleaner not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, AVG Cleaner may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
