Degoo Customer Insights

1. You literally have to go through the app on your phone to download one file at a time (even though you were able to put multiple files at a time on their storage but that's another conversation).

2. I earned almost 200 GB of storage to back up years of family photos, then they changed their policy to where the earned space expires after 28 days.

3. Love it!This app used to be the go to until they switched their business practices to a point where you are no longer even able to access your files from a desktop on the free account.

4. It's supposed to automatically delete things you delete and I just had to go back to January if 2017 deleting stuff that was SUPPOSED to already be deleted! NOW, they cut your storage down to 20 GB and say sorry.

5. I do the free ads for extra storage ALL the time, but I see no change at all, and I've already emailed them, and that didn't make a difference.

6. Can't even download my files, I'm lucky it was only a backup! Don't waste your time nor your money, seems like they're cutting corners for revenue.Very untrustworthy app.

7. Stay away! Old: Lots of storage space, automatic backups, easy to use.

8. The feature to save you space by downsizing your pictures just ends up making 2 copies on your phone so it actually does the opposite of what it's intended to do.

9. I have been struggling to access my files even with premium account.

10. The flawed app kept getting stuck when I tried to download all of my photos before the space expired.

11. Now when you get extra storage it says it expires after a certain point.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Degoo Issues

1. Fix Degoo Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Degoo: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Degoo App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Degoo" » Open Degoo: 20 GB Cloud Storage » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Degoo » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Degoo: 20 GB Cloud Storage app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Degoo servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Degoo: 20 GB Cloud Storage" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Degoo app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Degoo might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Degoo. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Degoo then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Degoo not working


2. Fix Degoo Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Degoo be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Degoo not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Degoo may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Hola, soy usuario viejo de Degoo App.
    Desde 2017 que tengo mi cuenta de Degoo y los archivos que tenia guardados en ese momento (2017) se han borrado inesperadamente.
    Es muy triste porque eran videos/fotos muy importantes para mi y necesito recuperarlos urgentemente.
    Necesito una respuesta sobre este problema lo antes posible ya que necesito esos archivos, desde ya muchas gracias.

  • I have tried deleting my files several times. Spent several hours deleting over 20,000 files and they all reappeared less than a day later. What I REALLY want to do is Delete EVERYTHING - ZERO FILES in Degoo - then start over.

    I havce the StackSocial LIFETIME account... if I cancel my account (which should delete everything) can I sign up again and will the same StackSocial code work?

    Please advise.
