About VitaDock+ for Connect Devices

1. Note: VitaDock+ requires some Android permissions to fully support our sensor devices (Location Permissions) and some features for our advanced Activity Trackers (Access to Calls, Messages, Contacts, Weather [ViFit Run only]).

VitaDock+ Customer Insights

1. Deeply frustrating 😤While the app is decent enough, it is brought down by its mediocre and slightly confusing user interface, and the fact that it does not synchronize the data it receives from its connected devices with Google Fit - which I also find the app's biggest downfall.

2. It would have been nicer to rely on Google Fit's interface for daily checks instead - in the end, the user experience would have been far greater.Stopped working now because they need location access and when you grant it while using the app it just keeps asking for location access.

3. But one of the main reasons I acquired this product was it's syncing with Google fit, but in the implementation they do, it only reads data from Google fit, it doesn't send data!!! I wonder if they are just takers 😠.

4. Also, it seems that VitaDock gets the Google Fit information, but doesn't update my weight in Google Fit after stepping on the scale.

5. Currently it gets data from Google fit, but it doesn't sync in the other direction.

6. I bought an oximeter because it was marketed as smart and it syncs with the Google Fit app.

7. body fat, body water, muscle percentage or bone weight! Now all of a sudden stuck on logo screen, no recent update available either.

8. Otherwise, the app seems really cool.It does not synchronize correctly and it doesn't measure my sleeping hours at all.

9. The app works with only one user, doesn't allow height to be set in 0.5" so then declares a mismatch.

10. This is false advertising the "sync" only syncs from Google Fit but not back to it.

11. Obsessing over weight in such short time range is far from healthy, so I don't get why that would be the default.Please add continuous monitoring for the oximeter.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix VitaDock+ Issues

1. Fix VitaDock+ Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart VitaDock+: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the VitaDock+ App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "VitaDock+" » Open VitaDock+ for Connect Devices » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for VitaDock+ » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear VitaDock+ for Connect Devices app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from VitaDock+ servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "VitaDock+ for Connect Devices" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check VitaDock+ app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, VitaDock+ might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall VitaDock+. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall VitaDock+ then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing VitaDock+ not working


2. Fix VitaDock+ Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make VitaDock+ be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to VitaDock+ not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, VitaDock+ may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
