ASHConnect Customer Insights

1. After several attempts to "find a location" it showed up but said I needed to be closer to start a workout! HOW MUCH CLOSER DO YOU NEED TO BE?! I was standing in the gym...on an elliptical! Such a frustrating app! So far I have had to wrestle with the app every time I have tried to log in to get credit.Apart from the several times the app has stopped working (they've since repaired, thank you) the app is rather straight forward and easier to use than having an employee physically sign off on each visit.

2. Apart from those issues, it does seem to keep track effectively.Doesn't recognize fitness center all the time,was told to uninstall and reinstall, still have issues.

3. If you conclude the workout anyway it will then show the correct time, but the background timing is off.App doesnt work.

4. The timer in the app is off though, if it's running in the background you might finish an hour workout and open to conclude your workout and see the timer at 20-something minutes.

5. I noticed that the app on several occasions has a hard time even uploading to where you can sign into a facility.I just started using the app, and it did successfully record my workout.

6. I had the same issue that another user indicated, that is, that the timer doesn't keep correct time.

7. I guess I go back to paper copy, less hassle and not as frustrating, just have to wait longer.I have tried using this for the past 10 days and it seems to work great.

8. A pain to uninstall and reinstall every time to see if that fixes the problem and it still doesn't work.

9. 3 days ago I was able to check in to my fitness center without any issues.i just downloaded and tried to register.

10. However, this comes at the risk that the app will occasionally not work and a paper/email process is still required to get credit for any exercise period performed.

11. When the app is running and you checked in it doesn't consistently stay with a time frame that you've been there.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ASHConnect Issues

1. Fix ASHConnect Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart ASHConnect: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ASHConnect App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ASHConnect" » Open ASHConnect » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ASHConnect » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ASHConnect app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ASHConnect servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ASHConnect" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ASHConnect app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ASHConnect might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ASHConnect. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ASHConnect then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ASHConnect not working


2. Fix ASHConnect Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ASHConnect be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ASHConnect not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ASHConnect may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
