Zero Customer Insights

1. Aside from that I have no issues with this app by any means 9.5/10 would recommend! Edit: I just so happened to stumble upon the edit start time function right after posting this....I have viewed previous fasts in 2 different areas of the app and got totally different times for how long I spent in a phase.

2. No need to purchase it when the only major difference is seeing what time you are in what fasting zone (which can be figured out with google) and joining the "challenges" they have that once you beat the challenge your prize is to do the same exact challenge again.

3. Really unfortunate change - will be seeking a better fasting app unless this is reverted backI like the articles and the fact that I can start or edit the fasting clock when I forget to start or stop it.

4. It tracks my fasting and eating times beautifully just with a push of a button! I was on a different popular Intermittent fasting app before this and it was so confusing and frustrating just for keeping correct times.

5. If there was a function where I could go in and adjust the start time of my fast because I had forgotten to go into the app for a few hours and reset it to the proper time of when I either started or stopped the fast, that would be amazing.

6. Loving itThe fasting records in the app work great, and the calendar display is a nice visual.

7. It used to show time left in hour:minutes, now its just hour making it impossible to know exactly how much time is left (especially in that last hour) at a simple glance.

8. for example when viewing fasting in the chart view it consistently loses an hour.

9. While in a fast it doesn't seem to take into account your personalized time vs standard.

10. The first fasting page doesn't work at all.

11. You had to reset your fasting plan every single week and the bar graph method they used was always off.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Zero Issues

1. Fix Zero Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Zero: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Zero App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Zero" » Open Zero - Intermittent Fasting » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Zero » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Zero - Intermittent Fasting app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Zero servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Zero - Intermittent Fasting" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Zero app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Zero might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Zero. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Zero then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Zero not working


2. Fix Zero Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Zero be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Zero not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Zero may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
