BodyFast Customer Insights

1. As someone who works the night shift, this makes starting a new week obnoxiously inconvenient as I have to manually edit the start and end time of my fasting every single day, every single week.it's working, kind of.

2. Great app for beginners, but the more experienced may want to reconsider.The timer makes it easier to plan ahead for fasting periods and also makes it much easier to stick to the plan by providing accountability (even if it's only to myself) and helping me feel like I'm accomplishing a goal every day.

3. And finally, don't get this app for the Facebook group, I found it to be incredibly toxic and left within a day.The app is nice, but I wish I could adjust my fasting windows as I'm a lot more experienced than the level it starts you at.

4. Weight / fasting interval recommendations and suggestions don't seem to make sense, and after some time, it just seemed like this was no different than any other fasting timer.

5. It's also possible to change your fasting start times each day, even if you have already programmed the whole week.

6. How hard could it be to see that if I started on a MONDAY, then EVERY MONDAY is a new/next week.I've only been using this app for about a week and so far my impression is that it's a good app, but the subscription is ridiculous.

7. I wanted to use it with a friend to help motivate her but it's useless to me without being able to manually adjust the fasting window to at least my current level.

8. The coach purchase is not necessary for success.The app is great for getting you started, I paid for the coach so I could get additional plans and use the challenges feature and I do enjoy it.

9. I didn't give 5 starts because the free version was promoted at having all these recipes but you only get one recipe per category (breakfast, lunch, etc.) and that seemed a bit like a stretch becuase you actually have to pay for the premium to get all the recipes.

10. From the description and price, I expected a person to make specific personal recommendation, but it seems that the subscription only unlocks features in their fasting algorithm.

11. I'm not glued to my phone, nor the app, so my "start day" kept getting shoved...bc I did not start it over every week.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix BodyFast Issues

1. Fix BodyFast Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart BodyFast: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the BodyFast App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "BodyFast" » Open BodyFast: Intermittent Fasting » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for BodyFast » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear BodyFast: Intermittent Fasting app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from BodyFast servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "BodyFast: Intermittent Fasting" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check BodyFast app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, BodyFast might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall BodyFast. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall BodyFast then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing BodyFast not working


2. Fix BodyFast Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make BodyFast be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to BodyFast not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, BodyFast may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Please cancel my subscription! I was signed up by my iphone… Why is so difficult to cancel it? In my apple system I cant see my subscrption for your app… I do all the steps that you say in email, but from my iphone I cant cancel the subscription!
    I dont have a laptop or a PC… I saw that it is possible to cancel my subscription by sent here a mail…
    I remember that in november I applied for a coach and I paid, but when I wanted to use it, I cant do that because the app wants to pay again… When I saw that, I deleted the app from my phone… And yesterday I was informed that your app wants money from my pokets! It was a subscription just for a month! I paid it! I never used because it was impposible to used it! And now, your app put me to pay again for something that I never ever use…
