I have a SONY PCM A10Can not play back through phone (oppo), i used to have an iphone and I think this same app let me play back, search and rename tracks, but seems on this phone it's just a remote control to make recordings never listen to them, or organise them which is really useless, fix it Sony urgently!Won't launch on Galaxy s21 ultra.

2. So if your recorder do not have a speaker you can't listen tracks wireless.The devs could have at least implemented a way to allow users to see and stream play back of the recorded files through the app.

3. That would be awesome!The app works fine connecting and remotely operating the recorders, change the recording settings, live monitoring the levels and a good choices for tagging.

4. Whilst it is great to control it via Bluetooth it is really pretty useless without being able to actually get the recordings to your phone for playback and editing.

6. There does seem to be a way to exit it from the app itselfOlympus can syncronize tracks between recorder and phone.

7. You have you have to either connect the recorder to your phone or a laptop to then retrieve the recordings.

9. What is most impressive with this tool is that I was able to remotely change the gain for different speakers and microphones! It was great.

1. Fix REC Remote Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart REC Remote: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the REC Remote App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "REC Remote" » Open REC Remote: Sony IC Recorder » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for REC Remote » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear REC Remote: Sony IC Recorder app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from REC Remote servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "REC Remote: Sony IC Recorder" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check REC Remote app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, REC Remote might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall REC Remote. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall REC Remote then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing REC Remote not working

2. Fix REC Remote Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make REC Remote be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to REC Remote not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, REC Remote may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
