Silvertrac Software Customer Insights

1. I'm very disappointed it's just a waste of timeYo, devs! What's up with this recent update?!?! 🤷 ♂️🤷 ♂️ Normally, if works fine, but THIS most recent update has screwed it up! 🙃 Captured pictures are condensed/smushed together, and, more glaringly, every time I minimize the app, to do something else, the app boots itself a clone, and then my notifications show a whole bunch of Silvertrac pop-ups open.

2. Pictures taken should have a GPS stamp so the location of the picture can be retrieved.New update is terrible.

3. The older app was working perfectly this newer version takes a long time to snap pictures you have to at least hold it for 15 sec.

4. Since I'm not the reader of the data, I hope it's not going to be in pieces, for each app (browser window?? 🤷 ♂️🤷 ♂️ - sorry) opened.After installing the newest update, the UI is much quicker to respond.

5. The app needs improvements!!! Pictures that are taken come out terrible with the latest update! Not enough room to put the vehicle model name.

6. the cameras shotter is very slow and so most the time pictures are not clear enough and you have to take a picture for several times to save an ok picture.

7. Now I have to wait holding the camera steady for a few extra seconds after the first preview and press keep button with both arms extended out.I work as a Patrol Officer.

8. Most of the time during patrol if I'm lucky enough to have time to take pictures I do it with my phone.

9. This is NOT a user friendly app! Every time I change phones or need to use a different phone I am unable log in.

10. Sometimes you have to take 2 or 3 pictures just to get a decent photo.Update: 10/07/2020 Got a hold of techs, and did the email dance.

11. Now I when I take a pic, the image will freeze and while I pull my phone in closer to accept the preview , the camera snaps another blur preview .

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Silvertrac Software Issues

1. Fix Silvertrac Software Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Silvertrac Software: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.

    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Silvertrac Software" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Silvertrac Software app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Silvertrac Software might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Silvertrac Software. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Silvertrac Software then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Silvertrac Software not working


2. Fix Silvertrac Software Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Silvertrac Software be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Silvertrac Software not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Silvertrac Software may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
