1. This program is clearly still in alpha in terms of store rollout. It says I have to pay $12 a month or $99 a year and it doesn't say anything about scanning or paying at the store it's an order online app! It sucks!I use to love Safeway until the store on 16th St in San Francisco did me wrong.
2. Compare with the Wegmans scan app, which I was able to setup and use at the store in my area (Northern Virginia) in a few minutes.
3. After that, you can travel a thousand miles to the nearest store that enables the scan and pay functionality.
4. Guest svs., & sraff don't know to jnstall ut for me:(Excellent sales and a fun way to save a lot of grocery cash!I can't sign in; passwords expire; not user friendlyDaily Specials, especially that place across the street.
5. Nice idea, but needs to either go systemwide or just don't bother.Only works at 10 stores in ID, CA, and IL that they tell you AFTER you've wasted time filling in boxes and they've harvested your info.
6. You first need a subscription 🤷 ♂️Waste of time to go through the process of setting this up only to see that they only have about 8 or 10 locations this can be used...all of them more than 200 miles from me.
7. On top of that, this limits you to about 15 items you can purchase and I doubt it let's you purchase produce items that are by weight (just my guess on that as I wasn't able to use this app).
8. I walked into the store panicking about 3 store employees and 2 security was standing around.
9. I hoped this Safeway app would offer similar functionality as the Wegmans app.
10. Stuck in a loop when it was fetching my cart.I had it but lost it & hv been four days missing out on deals.
11. I didn't even need to create an account.
