1. If you want the app to send you alerts for lower prices automatically then you pay monthly but you can manually go into the app and compare prices with no ads for a flat fee.I've been using this app for around 4-5 years & I LOVE IT! If I'm shopping at a store & see an item I want to buy, it's so easy to whip out my phone & scan the barcode to compare prices everywhere else, including online retailers.

2. I've yet to find a valid price for the 15 or 20 items I've tried to check on since the advertisements became so pervasive and invasive.This app use to be great but does not work at all anymore because pop up adds are controlling it to the point it is useless.

3. I just love this app & I especially love the new feature of tracking price drops for any item I've scanned in the past.It used to be a pretty decent app for checking prices but now the ads have taken it over.

4. This app helps you find things you are looking for as well as find cheaper prices when you are trying to get a better deal with a price match.

7. App is terrible, even with gps enabled local shows 0 on literally anything I scan, including international products, what exactly is this good for? Because it couldn't even recognize 90% of what I scanned as being sold anywhere, some of which were purchased less than a week ago off of stores showing IN THE SEARCH yet the app couldn't find them.

8. It use to give me a list of stores both online and physical, now it just... Lists the top store? Anyway, it doesn't do much price comparison anymore.

9. I have on many occasions saved as much as $5 to $10 on a single purchase on items in the $35 to $45 range with a price match.

10. Monthly subscription? Make more apps if you can't afford your salary! There are too many other barcode scanners that do the same thing this does with a one time flat fee for no ads.

1. Fix ShopSavvy Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart ShopSavvy: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the ShopSavvy App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ShopSavvy" » Open ShopSavvy - Barcode Scanner » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ShopSavvy » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear ShopSavvy - Barcode Scanner app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ShopSavvy servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ShopSavvy - Barcode Scanner" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check ShopSavvy app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ShopSavvy might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall ShopSavvy. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ShopSavvy then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ShopSavvy not working

2. Fix ShopSavvy Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ShopSavvy be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ShopSavvy not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ShopSavvy may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
