1. I need this mobile app, due to the fact that I am losing my home pc.This is a crappy app designed to take advantage of people with the convenience fees,don't work 75% of the time and still charges you a fee everything you try they don't reimburse you for,avoid using this app if you can,just go pay in person.Horrible ! App is a POS I had it to just make payment and it work till I needed to update my card info now that I have a new card it no longer work.

2. The county I just moved from has a website that doesn't work and their only other electronic option is this app, but the permission requirements make me distrust it.It's worked for me one time & when it did there was a fee.

3. Doesn't sync with the website, user interface is terrible, and requires access to microphone, phone calls and phone data.

4. Control phone calls and record audio? Why? I just need to pay my personal property taxes.

5. This last try, it tells me I have to put in a correct daytime phone number, which is also what I had been using.

6. Make and receive phone calls and have access to my text messages.

7. They make things so difficult when you trying to do what needs to be done the app is trash just like the county and all this 3rd party bs.App requires permissions it should not need.

8. You have to enter your card info so idk how it don't work it's pretty dumb.

11. I also went to my local utility company to pay & used a card & they use this same software & it STILL charges a fee.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix PayGOV Issues

1. Fix PayGOV Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart PayGOV: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the PayGOV App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "PayGOV" » Open PayGOV Mobile » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for PayGOV » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear PayGOV Mobile app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from PayGOV servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "PayGOV Mobile" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check PayGOV app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, PayGOV might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall PayGOV. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall PayGOV then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing PayGOV not working


2. Fix PayGOV Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make PayGOV be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to PayGOV not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, PayGOV may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
