1. It enables residential users to review recent and historical data of their energy usage, energy demand, solar generation (if installed), and thermostat activity.

2. This application is provided in support of Inergy Systems's range of demand controllers and energy load orchestrators.

3. It also support remote control of thermostats connected to the installed demand controller, as well as estimated billing and savings data.

4. Where the data is supported disaggregation information shows where energy is being consumed and how energy is distributed between the grid, the home and solar (if installed).

My Home Connect Customer Insights

1. There problem with the app is that even if I wanted to renew the paid subscription, the password reset still doesn't work.It was working fine and then I got a message that my subscription expired.

2. In response to the developer's condescending rebuttal: Yes, I know it's a paid subscription (this is the part that is devaluing solar technology).

3. I guess it is working but time wi tell.I already spent a sh!+ ton of money on solar panels and now I find out that I have to pay another $100 a year to use this app.

4. The website has more useful information but even that is not the best.Subscription Expired????? Just went to open this app and said my subscription expired.

8. As a software engineer I can tell you this app would never make it out of the QA stage of development.The app logged me out and the password reset does not work.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix My Home Connect Issues

1. Fix My Home Connect Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart My Home Connect: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the My Home Connect App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "My Home Connect" » Open My Home Connect » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for My Home Connect » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear My Home Connect app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from My Home Connect servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "My Home Connect" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check My Home Connect app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, My Home Connect might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall My Home Connect. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall My Home Connect then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing My Home Connect not working


2. Fix My Home Connect Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make My Home Connect be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to My Home Connect not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, My Home Connect may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
