PRO1 Connect Customer Insights

1. Only reason I give it 2 stars instead of 1 is bc it at least works, though barelyWay better than the old version! In the previous version, I remember connecting my thermostat to the app was a disaster, so I was kind of dreading having to go through it all again when I got the email saying they were releasing an updated version.

2. I'm tapping on the buttons 3-4 times before anything happens, and it doesn't seem to let me edit more than one thing at once or edit it again after saving, you have to back all the way out of the schedule and go back to it to change each time period.Slow and clunky.

3. If I change the temperature temperature either manually or using the app, it makes it a hold and won't go back to the schedule.

4. I had to go on my physical thermostat settings and delete the old wifi info, and shut off mobile data on my phone and installation commenced.

5. There is no longer the option to copy a schedule from one t-stat to another; a handy feature for those of us who manage facilities with multiple ac units.

6. If I set a temporary hold and set the time I want it to be done, it always defaults to 7pm, and even then the hold doesn't go away.

7. Turns out though, after the thermostat got its update earlier today, I tried adding it, and I got it on the first try without even calling their support line.

8. Found after install about a month or so the house thermostat was set at 0 (zero) degrees, all by itself.

9. When trying to set a schedule, the temp just jumps from 65 to 70, it impossible to set it to my desired 68 on their fancy wheels.

10. Then you change to an updated version.

11. Has the ability to change the temperature from my phone anywhere.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix PRO1 Connect Issues

1. Fix PRO1 Connect Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart PRO1 Connect: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the PRO1 Connect App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "PRO1 Connect" » Open PRO1 Connect » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for PRO1 Connect » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear PRO1 Connect app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from PRO1 Connect servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "PRO1 Connect" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check PRO1 Connect app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, PRO1 Connect might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall PRO1 Connect. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall PRO1 Connect then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing PRO1 Connect not working


2. Fix PRO1 Connect Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make PRO1 Connect be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to PRO1 Connect not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, PRO1 Connect may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
