1. After my space was full, gcloud notified me of their additional space for my phone and I signed up.I love having such an easy to access, reliable source for backing up and storing important data.
2. Probably not a good solution to restore the entire phone to a new phone or after a factory reset unless you want to spend a lot of time in the cloud searching through all the backed up data, category by category, to decide what to keep and what to toss BEFORE YOU RESTORE.
3. If you backup several times, then when you restore, you could get all the files and data you deleted on your phone restored back to your phone unless you clean up the data in the cloud before restoring all.
4. Application Data from the Android>Data folder is NOT backed up, so you could lose a lot of data history from apps that store their data in the Android folders.Update: I tried restoring my messages and it didn't restore everything.
5. I love how all my files are backed up into one place making it so much easier to find what I'm looking for instead of having to shuffle through several different storage apps.I really really like this app, honestly I wish I knew this was an option back in 2016 when I was in a custody battle for my son .
6. Does not synchronize phone data to phone; only a SIMPLE BACKUP.
7. I just love how easy this is to use and how it keeps all my important files right where I can easily access them at any given time and it's so easy to navigate through.
8. I can't see any of my saved messages! And thanks for the heads-up letting us know about a potential data ruining update.
9. I cancelled the subscription and deleted this garbage app.Quite frankly, a pleasure to operate, well done eh? While I haven't had this app installed for much more than a week, it doesn't take more than a few uses to see that a lot of work was put into the design and implementation.
10. But it does not make restoration easy if you have a good number of backed up datasets.
11. Data from a single backup is not easily available since each category is stored separately.
