1. What does a person have to do to get the real app, have a Droid phone.I am SO HAPPY I found this app ! ! ! Since there's no Dexcom G5 app that I can load onto my archaic Moto Z2, I loaded the Simulator, the same way people would walk around in the 80s with a fake cell phone... they wanted to look cool.

1. Fix Dexcom G5 Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Dexcom G5: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Dexcom G5 App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Dexcom G5" » Open Dexcom G5 Mobile Simulator » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Dexcom G5 » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Dexcom G5 Mobile Simulator app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Dexcom G5 servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Dexcom G5 Mobile Simulator" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Dexcom G5 app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Dexcom G5 might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Dexcom G5. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Dexcom G5 then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Dexcom G5 not working

2. Fix Dexcom G5 Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Dexcom G5 be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Dexcom G5 not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Dexcom G5 may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
