1. Always know your glucose number and where it’s heading with the Dexcom G6 and G6 Pro Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) Systems –indicated for diabetes treatment decisions with zero fingersticks and no calibration. * A core feature of the Dexcom G6 and G6 Pro Systems is providing users with alarm/alerts based on their glucose level. *Fingersticks required for diabetes management decisions if symptoms do not match readings.
2. The Dexcom G6 and G6 Pro Systems provide personalized trend alerts right on your smart device and lets you see when your glucose levels are going too low, or too high, so you can better manage your diabetes.
3. This will allow you to silence calls or texts but still receive audible CGM Alarm and Alerts, including the Urgent Low Alarm, Low and High Glucose alerts, Urgent Low Soon Alert**, and Rise and Fall Rate alerts**.
4. Followers can monitor your glucose data and trends in real time on their compatible smart device with the Dexcom Follow** app.
5. Dexcom G6 and G6 Pro provide real-time glucose readings for patients with type 1 or type 2 diabetes every five minutes.
6. The Always Sound** setting, which is on by default, allows you to receive certain Dexcom CGM Alerts even if your phone sound is off, set to vibrate, or in Do Not Disturb mode.
7. Custom alert sounds are available, including a Vibrate-Only option on the phone for glucose alerts.
8. For safety, the Urgent Low Alarm and three alerts cannot be silenced: Transmitter Failed, Sensor Failed, and App Stopped.
9. The Alert Schedule** feature lets you schedule and customize a second set of alerts.
10. Share** your glucose data with up to ten followers in real time.
11. A Home screen icon shows you if your Alerts will sound or not.
1. As somebody who runs a lot I was really looking forward to the ease of being able to monitor myself while running without having to pull my phone out but this has been a flop.I can't enter text for events or scroll back several days or weeks.
2. Allow me to acknowledge and silence alerts without opening app.It does a great job monitoring my glucose levels BUT (and you have to do this using your glucometer and sticking your fingers), it has to be calibrated at least twice a day, and even then it's readings have been 10 - 60 points off.
3. My watch screen is completely black, or it won't connect to my dexcom readings on my phone for hours.
4. It sucks, I have to leave my work area, dig out my phone, remove my gloves, find the notification, open the app, wait, acknowledge, then switch to my media and restart.
5. I need to be able to enter info about my events like what meal and be able to write exactly what I ate like it does in the libre 2 app.
6. Dexcom went out of their way to PAUSE the media instead letting the phone mute it, like every other app.
7. Emails to developer go to unmonitored email account.Three times they disqualified the phone I was using, forcing a new purchase.
8. I appreciate that Dexcom has come out with a compatible watchface that accurately tells the glucose readings via Bluetooth directly from the transmitter.
9. It would be great if it were possible in future releases to have the numbers available as a complication for other watch faces.
10. Do you have money to waste? Lately, it loses connection to my new Samsung phone forcing a bluetooth repair.
11. Just pull data from the app instead of making me fill all the info in each time.
