Dexcom Clarity Customer Insights

1. Pity, because I really wanted to come into the 21st century and use the phone instead of the Dexcom reader.Experiencing the same problem as many others that this app does not allow me to login.

2. App used to work but since about the start of the new year, it has stopped working and will not even allow me to login or even recognize my email to reset the password.

3. It shouldn't be this hard when you're trying to get your numbers/trends/stats just because of a phone changeI have tried dozens of times to finish signing up; the app refuses to allow my information to be updated.

4. However, anytime you navigate away from the dexcom clarity app to your email app, once you go back to dexcom, it automatically takes you to the main login screen.

5. Entirely due to Dexcom and Clarity arming me with the data I need to make better decisions.Excellent app which is coupled together with ACCURATE & RELIABLE sensors.

11. Presumably a pixel 6 pro problem, but unsure as customer service has been unhelpful.Since my phone isn't compatible with the G7 app, it was recommended that I use this app.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Dexcom Clarity Issues

1. Fix Dexcom Clarity Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Dexcom Clarity: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Dexcom Clarity App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Dexcom Clarity" » Open Dexcom Clarity » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Dexcom Clarity » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Dexcom Clarity app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Dexcom Clarity servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Dexcom Clarity" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Dexcom Clarity app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Dexcom Clarity might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Dexcom Clarity. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Dexcom Clarity then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Dexcom Clarity not working


2. Fix Dexcom Clarity Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Dexcom Clarity be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Dexcom Clarity not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Dexcom Clarity may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
