1. I simply access my system each morning using the app, check status make any adjustments required, all in less than a couple of minutes.Great way to set and monitor the various programs on my Kirkland hearing aids! With 5 preset programs it's hard to know which one you're on, but the app takes the guessing out of finding and adjusting programs.
2. I would love to have an option to freeze the settings until I manually reset them, but the hearing aids default back to "auto" every time you turn them off and back on.Not bad when it works.
3. A whole different world than trying to adjust only the two settings using the buttons on the hearing aids.
4. Also, it should allow for numeric volume control (let me enter a number from 1 to 15), not just a slider, for easier control, and should have a "mute" button right on the main screen.the app seems to have lot of information but I find it difficult to tell exactly what I am doing.I wish there was an audio tutorial that could explain what the icons on the app mean.
5. It isn't able to monitor the connection with the hearing aids and reestablish a connection that is dropped. The app asks for all kinds of permissions and refuses to install if you do not give the permissions.
6. Each time you start the hearing aids, you must open the app to engage.
7. One improvement I would suggest is to have the app store and start up with the user's preferred settings for mode, volume and tone quality.
8. The app doesn't stay connected to the hearing aids.
9. The only thing I use the app for is turning the hearing aids off all of the way.
10. The hearing aids are great just the app is bad.
11. I have used this app every day for over 3 weeks since receiving my new hearing aids.
