1. It's disconcerting to hear really loud tones and realize that everyone else heard them, too, when I was expecting them to ring only in my ear.Doesn't help with Bluetooth connections using a Samsung S10 phone.

2. The Bluetooth connection is automatic once again ... but now the ring tone for calls and some notifications sound both in my aid and on the phone's speaker.

3. I also use an external mic to connect hearing aids to phone for listening to media or phone calls as I have an android phone.

4. The app needs me phone to be taken off of "Do not disturb" in order to work, even though supposedly it works through Bluetooth.The only issue I've been having is the Bluetooth.

5. Can't control volume of phone calls and calls are only heard in left ear.

6. Otherwise, I believe this new application is in conflict with my basic phone functions and prevents me from reliably receiving and sometimes making normal phone calls.

7. Very disappointed in the Bluetooth abilities of these hearing aids with this phone.

8. I've reinstalled several times but everyday I have issues.Worked fine for a while, but recently my left hearing aid doesn't seem to work consistently & I can't figure out why.

11. I've recommended these to people and maybe I shouldn't have.This app, unlike the one it replaces, allows you to adjust the right and left audio separately.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Rexton App Issues

1. Fix Rexton App Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Rexton App: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Rexton App App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Rexton App" » Open Rexton App » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Rexton App » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Rexton App app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Rexton App servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Rexton App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Rexton App app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Rexton App might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Rexton App. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Rexton App then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Rexton App not working


2. Fix Rexton App Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Rexton App be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Rexton App not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Rexton App may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
