1. This is the only reason why im giving 4 stars.The whole reason why I downloaded the app was to be able to send in meter readings quick and easy, but if you have an older meter it is NOT! Customers must manually enter the meter numbers instead of uploading a picture of the meter which ConEd allows one to do by email.

2. Light speed.Clean clear ,precise app,and it's always up and running, so far I have never had an issue with this app, I have been using it more than a year,I would give it 10 stars if I could......This is the best way to pay your bill very straightforwardly.

3. This is misleading and I am aware it can take a few days to clear from my bank account, but the app should not show a balance due if a payment was made.

4. When paying with a bank account though, for some reason, after a day the app appears with a balance still due until it actually clears from your bank account.

5. Simple, easy to navigate through and you received your payment information in more than one verification.

6. I have been using this app for many years before the pandemic and have never had any problems.I like the biometric function and multiple accounts all in one.

7. Not that hard folks...No nonsense, straightforward UI makes taking care of bills very easy.

8. I will definitely use Con Edison online bill pay again.The ConEd app is very easy to understand and use.

9. This is despite a confirmation E-mail having been sent for payment.

10. Plus I like the ease of tracking the usage in the household and I love the fact that they give you notifications about any outages and how factors can affect your usage.

11. I have not had any kind of problem with it since I downloaded it to my phone pay as you go no lines, one press and done.It would be nice for the developer to fix the flaws of this app.

1. Fix Con Edison Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Con Edison: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Con Edison App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Con Edison" » Open Con Edison » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Con Edison » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Con Edison app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Con Edison servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Con Edison" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Con Edison app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Con Edison might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Con Edison. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Con Edison then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Con Edison not working

2. Fix Con Edison Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Con Edison be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Con Edison not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Con Edison may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
