1. If you're using the free version you're going to get super loud ads where the volume button is practically hidden, so be careful if you're logging at work or something.
2. It syncs to my fitbit app as well as other features that I wasn't looking for but are nice! I went ahead and bought the pro version to unlock the notification buttons and get rid of ads.
3. Something as simple as being able to get a notification when a friend completes their daily goal, or sharing the achievements with our friends in the app, for example, would definitely help with the peer support and friendly competition aspects of the app.
4. Very demotivating- especially since I'm using the paid version! Looking for another tracker. It works pretty well but I wish the social features were more engaging.
5. Another cool feature is the notifications you can set, for some reason the messages shown make me realize I'm not taking care of myself by not drinking water which leads me to stay hydrated.
6. However, the point of the app is to get your water in but how do you do that if you don't remember to drink and the faulty app doesn't remind you? πππAppears to be a decent app, highly customizable.
7. Hydro Coach Pro reminds me to drink and keeps me on track to stay hydrated day after day.
8. A useful feature for me is the weather because the app makes automatic adjustments to keep me properly hydrated as warmer environments require an increased intake of fluids. The new update is terrible.
9. I started logging water, after an entry, a full screen LOUD, video add started.
10. The non-starter: video ads! I started with the app, used the free version before I paid for it.
11. This really is helping me drink more water!!Update: Problem was resolved with an update.
