symplr Work Customer Insights

1. I'm a busy chic and I don't have time to put to add my schedule in Outlook Calendar (life is too short).Good to request shifts, but you cant cancel a request that has already been made! This makes it very difficult to manage a schedule properly.

2. It does not use colors to differentiate between vacation days, time off or scheduled work days so a quick glance at your schedule looks like you work every day.

3. The other 60% is spent trying to find a "sweet spot." So I can spend 2-3 minutes trying to use the app to clock in and then it still not work and I have to go to a computer to clock in.

4. The ability to send messages to co-workers via app app would allow for better communication between staff and management.Horrible Horrible app! Have never been able to clock in or out always says out of range even if im touching the beacon.

5. Abilities that are found in the Dayforce app would allow for more ease when switching shifts, taking time off and sync ability with our phone calendars.

6. Honestly the pros are outweighed by the cons.I like this app, the only thing I don't is the fact that you can't request an 8 hour shift instead of the standard 12; sometimes you want to help your team out but not stay all day.

7. Hospital managment would love for this to be a thing.Trying to clock in at work is awful.

9. Shift selection is a simple yet more work than it should be since you have to do week by week instead of monthly view.

10. Also, there should be color coding on the shift calendar so that at a glance you can see whether you requested a shift or requested a shift off, or have an approved shift or shift off on a particular date.

11. I have an android and it picks up the sensor to clock in/out maybe 40% of the time.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix symplr Work Issues

1. Fix symplr Work Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart symplr Work: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the symplr Work App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "symplr Work" » Open symplr Workforce » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for symplr Work » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear symplr Workforce app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from symplr Work servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "symplr Workforce" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check symplr Work app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, symplr Work might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall symplr Work. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall symplr Work then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing symplr Work not working


2. Fix symplr Work Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make symplr Work be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to symplr Work not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, symplr Work may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
