I actually downloaded the app hoping that I would be able to take advantage of spare moments when I am on the go to mark loans with a star that I am considering funding, like I can on the Kiva website using my desktop computer and my web browser, for me to make a final decision on later when I am at my computer, but it seems that this feature has not made it into the app yet.I had been using the site for about a year now.

2. Live the concept of Kiva and plan on using it for a long time!This app is useful for reviewing loan listings when on the go, IF I am ready to contribute to the loan right then.

1. Fix Kiva Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Kiva: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Kiva App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Kiva" » Open Kiva - Lend for Good » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Kiva » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Kiva - Lend for Good app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Kiva servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Kiva - Lend for Good" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Kiva app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Kiva might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Kiva. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Kiva then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Kiva not working

2. Fix Kiva Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Kiva be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Kiva not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Kiva may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
