1. Very disappointed with nomad lighting.Latest update looks to have borked everything, can no longer connect to any devices.Doesn't connect to light fixture....how do you sell your products based off an app that doesn't work.Cannot get app to work despite reading printed instructions and online.App says not compatible with device.

2. I have spent hours installing, uninstalling app, factory resetting the two globe lamps, app hangs, crashes, fails to recognize the lamps via Bluetooth.

3. With each lamp costing $330 why it is not working? Please address ASAP - I never had such a poor product before.Horrible. Wasted like $700 in two towers and a "floating" ball that worked for 2 months and never worked again.

4. In the future I'll be buying lamps with an ON/OFF switch.Got 4 lights and none could be connected with a message "Can't connect".

5. It is incapable of pairing with the two $250 Nomad floating pool lamps I bought.

6. My phone bluetooth sees lamps but there is no way to connect.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Smart and Green Issues

1. Fix Smart and Green Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Smart and Green: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Smart and Green App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Smart and Green" » Open Smart and Green - Mesh » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Smart and Green » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Smart and Green - Mesh app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Smart and Green servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Smart and Green - Mesh" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Smart and Green app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Smart and Green might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Smart and Green. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Smart and Green then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Smart and Green not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Smart and Green be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Smart and Green not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Smart and Green may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
