1. Ugh!I downloaded this to use on my Samsung surround sound works well and then I decide to buy the pro version as it says I unlock everything and I try to mirror and it sends me to another app which I have to install and pay for again to use the one feature I paid for on the other app in the first place waste of time honestly the web version is okay but doesn't register half the time and yeaDoes what it's intended for perfectly.

2. Cheers Update : The pop ups have been removed! You rock Dev team!Yay I can conveniently watch YouTube videos on my TV again! YouTube app on my BR player stopped being supported many years ago and my old Samsung TV also doesn't have a YouTube app.

3. They also mentioned something about "playbar" and I have no idea if that might be useful or not.The app does not open youtube videos when casting, just buffers constantly.Connection can be intermittent and it isn't clear if its because of problems with the app, my wifi router or my smart TV.

4. Just very much a hit and miss app9anime site doesn't seem to work anymore so I lowered it with 1 star.

5. But when it works it works very well..... just not everytime!Doesn't work, I should have listened to the reviews.

6. It doesn't seem to have any logic to while it will stream some content one day and then not again the next day or for a week or two and then start doing it again.

7. Reporting videos doesn't seem to do any good.

8. Restarting the TV and the smart hub doesn;t work.

9. Rebooting the app doesn;t seem to re-set it.

10. Updating everything doesn;t work either.

11. Didn't offer any additional useful functionality I could find that wasn't already in the smartview app that came with all my samsung devices.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix TV Cast Pro Issues

1. Fix TV Cast Pro Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart TV Cast Pro: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the TV Cast Pro App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "TV Cast Pro" » Open TV Cast Pro for Samsung TV » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for TV Cast Pro » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear TV Cast Pro for Samsung TV app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from TV Cast Pro servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "TV Cast Pro for Samsung TV" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check TV Cast Pro app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, TV Cast Pro might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall TV Cast Pro. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall TV Cast Pro then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing TV Cast Pro not working


2. Fix TV Cast Pro Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make TV Cast Pro be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to TV Cast Pro not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, TV Cast Pro may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
