1. The mini projector i got that happens to work with this app works just fine when connected via HDMI but when you plug it up to your phone in conjunction with this app it's damn near impossible to get it cooperate.

2. If I want it, I will turn it on... In other words, to run the app, I have to undo much of what it does to my phone to run it the way I like.This app works alright if you want to watch youtube on a less advanced Tv, but it comes at a cost.

3. Also it doesn't detect my device at all! I have tried USB tethering and USB debugging, gone through the directions several times, and nothing works! Total waste of money!You have to take the app slow through motions and menus or it will crash.

4. It is definitely a waste of money and timeI have tried using this with a tablet and my Android phone, and neither one can detect any WIFI signal from it.

5. I very much contemplated returning the projector just because of the frustration I experienced wit this app.When I first bought my EZCast Wire device, it worked very well.

6. But every time that I have updated this app or the device's firmware, it has gotten a little worse (I have been using the same phone the entire time, and that phone has had no updates).

7. It still works but for some reason the audio does not come from the tv anymore just the phone.

8. It doesn't matter what kind if phone you use either, the poor quality remains poir and gets worse.

9. 11/2018: I bought a dongle that uses this app to cast my phone to my projector.

10. Second, the audio does not transmit to the tv, it is still in the phone.

1. Fix EZCast Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart EZCast: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the EZCast App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "EZCast" » Open EZCast – Cast Media to TV » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for EZCast » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear EZCast – Cast Media to TV app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from EZCast servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "EZCast – Cast Media to TV" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check EZCast app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, EZCast might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall EZCast. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall EZCast then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing EZCast not working

2. Fix EZCast Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make EZCast be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to EZCast not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, EZCast may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
