Why should I report an Issue with VLC Mobile Remote - PC & Mac?

1. I do wish that there were more video controls available without going to the main screen for that video and that one could see the progress of the video (much like Spotify does with music on their app), again, without going to the video main screen.Excellent, BUT!!! An excellent app, but it drains the battery so fast.

2. Banner ads at the bottom of the interface are non-intrusive and tolerable, but the latest version now triggers video ads on my phone whenever the pause button is pressed.

3. I've tried what feels like dozens of these types of apps for remote computer control, this one blows the others out of the water.

8. I bought the app BTW.Very Useful minus some glitches here and there, but overall much better user interface and usefulness of features than similar apps.

9. Minus one star for this, otherwise a great app.Took some time to get it working, and there were issues with the purchases.

10. If I'm hitting pause it usually means I need silence for a moment, not a virtual shopping trip! Bad decision guys.

1. Fix VLC Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart VLC: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the VLC App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "VLC" » Open VLC Mobile Remote - PC & Mac » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for VLC » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear VLC Mobile Remote - PC & Mac app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from VLC servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "VLC Mobile Remote - PC & Mac" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check VLC app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, VLC might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall VLC. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall VLC then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing VLC not working

2. Fix VLC Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make VLC be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to VLC not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, VLC may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
