About V Band

1. After the App establishes a binding relationship with the watch (such as the NY17, Series series), the App will forward the incoming calls and SMS messages received by the mobile phone to the watch side to notify the user of the new message.

2. This function needs to use these permissions to ensure the realization of the notification function.

3. After the user is unpair, these permissions will not be used.

4. For actual application demonstration, you can refer to the video provided by us.

V Band Customer Insights

1. Great battery life though, and speaker sound when it does connect.The weather is inaccurate, the call log and phone list functions do not work, data collection is limited, sleep tracking is incorrect, the word thermometer is misspelled, there are no directions how to download music to the watch and no response from the developer to any of these questions.

2. This app makes a great watch just acceptable.The watch is good but this app has not been updated in a long time I think there should be options like the old pebble app where you can select what apps you want to receive notifications from.

3. Will not pair with phone, can not set time or date ,will not sync contacts, msgs, does not accept use of special apps such as ecg, I maintain computers as my job, so I know what i am doing, for 16 years now.

4. The app won't open a large percentage of the time, it crashes often making it impossible to sync and update your watch.

5. I just returned my favorite watch due to rotary dial does not work correctly,I'm only giving 2 stars because while I like the watch and app, you can't trust the blood pressure readings.

6. I would like to see in a near future update a "sync with Google Fit" option.Watch works surprisingly well, even prefer it over my Samsung at times.

7. The "other" notification setting is broke I have turned it off because when my phone was on charge I'd get notifications every few mins it got frustrating sort the app out please and add some new features to the app.A number of features this app gets right, but also a number it needs help with.

8. The time is wrong constantly, you have to keep the app on and open in order to keep the watch updated.

9. This app doesn't show list every installed app on your phone, but rather a collection of China-familiar apps and a 'other apps' choice.

10. 'Other apps' notifies me of my phone's charging status every 10 seconds?!!! Why?Have a samsung note 10 +, saw the guys rating w his note 10+, i have more problems than he had.

11. Only issue is that there are features in the watch i cannot use because the "save"/"apply button" is too high to the right so I cannot click it.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix V Band Issues

1. Fix V Band Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart V Band: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the V Band App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "V Band" » Open V Band » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for V Band » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear V Band app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from V Band servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "V Band" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check V Band app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, V Band might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall V Band. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall V Band then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing V Band not working


2. Fix V Band Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make V Band be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to V Band not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, V Band may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
