1. What good does notes do, when you can't open them?!!! 😡 I have tried several times to download the Samsung Notes Add-on and it will not work! So after several attempts and several weeks, I finally was able to install the notes add-on! First, you go to Samsung Notes and turn on allow permission to install! Hope this helps others.Ever since the update, I cannot view important apps that are in a secured folder due to how Samsung blocks the screen with their Knox code integration.. It used to work flawlessly with the Add-On but now I can't even install the add-on for Samsung so I'm forced to update.

2. Overall reflects very badly on TeamViewer.Help me to understand how so many apps that I did not download to my phone have just appeared on my phone without asking my permission or even if I want to view what they do first and foremost??? And there's so many that have just helped themselves to my phone that do absolutely nothing and won't allow me to delete them..🤔 Ive no use for any apps other than those i actually research beforehand... However, I believe we should by law, asked if we even want the app in the first place.I too have tried to install multiple times, but it is in a do loop.

3. I use teamviewer to work on my wife's tablet and other devices at home now i have a Samsung tablet I can't do it any more, come on teamviewer your a software company surely you can fix this!!??!!Used to work, but now with 15 it does not not work anymore, keeps saying I need to update TV on remote device.

4. Every time I try to connect to the other phone it wants me to install this update which I cannot.

5. The phone will install the universal add-on but still doesn't allow remote control with that.

6. I'm pretty sure an older version was working fine on these phones but now it's not.TeamViewer used to you work great and now I have a Samsung.

7. Any work around?Will not install on Samsung J7 Prime.

8. I have cleared the cache of Google Play Store and the add-on still will not install.

9. Update itself does not work.

10. Cannot use TeamViewer to help out a family member.Very erratic and unreliable.

11. Quite frequently says the phone is offline when it is not so you cannot connect.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Add-On Issues

1. Fix Add-On Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Add-On: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Add-On App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Add-On" » Open Add-On: Samsung » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Add-On » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Add-On: Samsung app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Add-On servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Add-On: Samsung" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Add-On app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Add-On might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Add-On. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Add-On then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Add-On not working


2. Fix Add-On Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Add-On be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Add-On not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Add-On may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
