1. my last address app was much more complicated and after years of it i decided to see if there was anything simpler and have been delighted with this one.It does what it says, but a few nitpicks: 1.) You should be able to change the date format to your liking 2.) I'd like to customize the ordering of the individual's info so I see the info I want on the home page 3.) More color options!!! A color wheel would be much better than 6 or 7 color options.
2. Better yet clicking on the small text message icon next to the name should give you a choice among all the IM apps you declared for that record, e.g. Telegram, Skype, AIM, QQ, ICQ, Jabber, Viber, Whatsapp, .... Right now it only gives you access to the default googlish thing called "Message" to send an ... SMS.
3. Dev does not answer queries (maybe 72 hours was not enough to wait - I ought to be fair) and very usual/useful/necessary/must-have fields are missing in address records, not the least of which are "Organization", "Role", "Birthday".
4. This is an address book - the clue is in the app's name - so it is addresses I want to see, not phone nos.
5. As it is this app is lacking in one more respect: it permits the inclusion of IMs in fields, but will not permit you to link the corresponding IM handle to the app on your mobile terminal by simply clicking on the corresponding field in the address records.
6. Sync's with all my devices, finds address location on maps within the app, can find addresses by perdictive text, very easy to use.
7. i have found that most of the problems people are experiencing with this app can be fixed by playing around with the settings (for example, there is an option to sort by last name, you just have to choose it as it is not default).
8. I suggest "Web site" should appear under in each address type subsection, so as to make private web sites and "Organization" related ones clearly differentiable, which is not the case at posting time.
9. 2) if you include a phone no, it appears in the list view before the address, taking up the limited number of lines.
10. Hopefully alright for others. In case you're enticed by the app's purported simplicity, it turns out it's impossible to import correctly from either CSV or LDIF (neither are supported) or from Excel... although support for Excel imports appears as a sub-menu in `Settings` (why in settings ??).
11. It sorts by first name - however if you need to search by last name it makes sense to enter it in backwards when creating the contact.
