Why should I report an Issue with Safety - Help - SOS?

I have epilepsy and in addition to giving me the confidence and feeling of freedom to be able to have a life without constant monitoring by a family member or friend shadowing me so when I am incapacitated, they know help is only minutes away but I have new felt courage to venture out of my home knowing help is just 3 clicks away when I need it "being my voice when I need life sustaining help and can't use my own voice".

2. Is it possible that the message is sent automatically by Whatsapp to the already configured contacts, in the same way as the SMS, without having to go through the Whatsapp screen to choose them? Thank youI literally owe my life to this no frills, accurate AP.

3. The app works as it should but having a widget botton option makes it much more usable by reducing the steps to getting an alert sent out.This app does not explain how it works.

4. I hope you will consider adding an alert & message for contacts.It started sending the message randomly when I was not on my phone.

5. I like it so far.Needs an automatic alarm with unlimited alerts to let contacts know if I'm unable to get in touch with them, or if they haven't heard from me for that day, or if they have heard from me, then not to worry.

6. Tried another app which did have an alert & a message attached, but had limited free alerts before asking for payment, so couldn't use it.

7. I press it, the screen goes on and continues to show "searching for location" but my contacts do not receive a notification.

11. How does it send messages? I assume it used the internet and sends to other users of the app, but it appears to just use SMS.

1. Fix Safety Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Safety: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Safety App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Safety" » Open Safety - Help - SOS » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Safety » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Safety - Help - SOS app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Safety servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Safety - Help - SOS" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Safety app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Safety might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Safety. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Safety then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Safety not working

2. Fix Safety Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Safety be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Safety not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Safety may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
