1. Seems adding Stellar WiFi to Google is an through an unsafe website with an expired certificate.Does not work at all (Android 8.0.0). Updates have been failing for many months.This app is a joke and the customer service is not responsive, scam bulbs are not liking with Google assistant, I wish my feedback is Zero star.Works for basic lightbulb features but color gradients do not workIt doesn't work at all, its a scam I hope no one buys their products after reading my msgCan't get passed registration so useless This is complete junk as well as sansi bulbsP.O.S. and... after 3 years, no new app.

In that version I selected add bulb, then I tapped the red "detected available device" to add the already wifi connected bulb, before adding I was able to update the bulb firmware which fully fixed my connectivity issues.worst app I've ever used, turn off the light switch once? lights will disconnect.

3. I downloaded the latest version and connected the bulb to my wifi, after this it said the bulb was offline.

4. power goes out? don't worry your lights will be completely disconnected next time you have the misfortune of opening the appThe hardware lights up.

5. You won't know not to buy their product until it's to late.The app works but I was hoping to connect my bulbs to Google Home.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Stellar Wi-Fi Issues

1. Fix Stellar Wi-Fi Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Stellar Wi-Fi: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Stellar Wi-Fi App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Stellar Wi-Fi" » Open Stellar Wi-Fi » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Stellar Wi-Fi » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Stellar Wi-Fi app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Stellar Wi-Fi servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Stellar Wi-Fi" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Stellar Wi-Fi app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Stellar Wi-Fi might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Stellar Wi-Fi. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Stellar Wi-Fi then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Stellar Wi-Fi not working


2. Fix Stellar Wi-Fi Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Stellar Wi-Fi be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Stellar Wi-Fi not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Stellar Wi-Fi may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
