1. The lines in the store are ALWAYS so long and I just want to get my stuff and get out..... FIX YOUR APP PLEASE!Horrible, used to use the scan and go app but looks like they discontinued and moved us to this one...have tried this so many times over the past 8 weeks and will not recognize me in the store...even though I'm connected to Sam's Club Wifi!! Such a waste of phone space and my time!! 😡The old app worked amazing... since the new app has been up, I can't get it to work..... EVER.... says it only works in a store, I am in the store... says I can even scan via WiFi, am connected and it will not connect.......I have moved my star to 2.

2. Wifi is connected to Sam club but still wont let me scan saying I need to be in a store to scan.I can't get the shop and go part of the app to work.

3. This makes using a password manager (e.g. KeePass) very difficult and actually forces me to use a much weaker, shorter password than a password manager's much longer random password.I loved the old app scan and go but this new app is terrible and completely useless.

4. I was standing at the customer service counter in Sam's and it wouldn't scan items because I wasn't located in any store.

5. Since the item search returns the aisle number of the item's location, IMO the direction map should also show aisle numbers to help orient the user, rather than just aisle names like "snacks" and "pets", which has no logical ordering.

6. It's not recognizing that I am in the store and keeps asking me to connect to a Sam's club wifi even I'm already connected to it.

7. The additional functionality of getting directions to an item's physical location is interesting, but the app continuously misidentified my location and kept changing the direction it wanted me to go.

9. The main reason for me using the app was to scan and go and it wasn't worth a plug nickel.

11. Another usability issue I have with the app -- and this applies to the regular Sam's Club app, too -- is that it does not allow you to paste your password.

  5. Uninstall and reinstall Sam's Club now. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Sam's Club now then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Sam's Club now not working


2. Fix Sam's Club now Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Sam's Club now be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Sam's Club now not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
