RealPresence Customer Insights

1. I don't know how they got DOC contract.Worked... but... I had to use for a doctor appointment during this pandemic a few weeks ago, everything worked smoothly, then today on my tablet I noticed a line in my notifications that said "video".

2. So I uninstalled it til next time I have a video doctor appointment.Could not install on android note tried for hours.

3. And getting that to play it was a puzzle I had to shut off turn on shut off things inside Bluetooth setting to be able to hear.

4. I tapped it and would pull up a screen to make or answer a video call.

5. This was awful, had to keep moving the phone around because I couldn't see myself to see where I was on the camera.

6. Couldn't hear without Bluetooth speaker.

7. Than it said not optimzed for my device??? Was trying to use for inmate visits.

8. Was there every time I rebooted my tablet.

9. I do not like that it is on standby to make or receive a call.

10. Did download on my phone, however only one way viewing.

11. App looks like it was designed in the 1980's.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix RealPresence Issues

1. Fix RealPresence Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart RealPresence: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the RealPresence App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "RealPresence" » Open RealPresence Mobile - Tablet » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for RealPresence » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear RealPresence Mobile - Tablet app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from RealPresence servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "RealPresence Mobile - Tablet" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check RealPresence app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, RealPresence might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall RealPresence. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall RealPresence then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing RealPresence not working


2. Fix RealPresence Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make RealPresence be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to RealPresence not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, RealPresence may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
