OneAmerica Retirement Customer Insights

1. No chat feature.. Very basic features available: view balance, overall performance not performance per fund, ability to change contribution amount and investment options and that's about it.

2. Deleted due to lack of features.The app has almost no useful information outside of balance and what my elected contribution is.

3. It's like the app was put out just to have an app.Great app for general info about your retirement.Very easy to use app.I would like to be able to see Individual Contributions and Employer matched contributions YTD Summaries via the mobile app.Horribly behind the times.

4. If you want to see actual contribution amounts, company matches, etc, this app does not expose any of that data.

5. Other apps will give you a breakdown of vested/non-vested, employer vs employee contribution, current balance vs what I've contributed.

6. No features to view contributions in, and money sources.

7. No simple click features to contact company via email (there is one to contact their 800#).

8. Is that really too much to ask? It's really too hard for you to show me visually what my contributions, my gains or losses, and future goals LOOK like? Get it together.Cannot see everything.

9. Now that you have an app I STILL need to go to your website to see my gains and losses...Which involves running a report...By date.

10. I lost my home because of delays in hardship withdrawal to prevent foreclosure.They have failed to export my funds to another provider for over 2 months.

11. It's been a horrible experience with One America, always full of excuses or claim more information needed.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix OneAmerica Retirement Issues

1. Fix OneAmerica Retirement Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart OneAmerica Retirement: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the OneAmerica Retirement App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "OneAmerica Retirement" » Open OneAmerica Retirement » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for OneAmerica Retirement » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear OneAmerica Retirement app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from OneAmerica Retirement servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "OneAmerica Retirement" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check OneAmerica Retirement app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, OneAmerica Retirement might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall OneAmerica Retirement. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall OneAmerica Retirement then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing OneAmerica Retirement not working


2. Fix OneAmerica Retirement Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make OneAmerica Retirement be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to OneAmerica Retirement not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, OneAmerica Retirement may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
