Go City Customer Insights

1. Never again.The pass itself is no useful at all in NY few times we were told to reserve time and when we went to reserve time surprise there were additional costs at few attractions so we had to come back, was able to manage 3 attractions max in 2 days all inclusive pass, the app has np way to access list of attractions not the passes r useful rather it's painful for some attractions, it does not show any info on wait times etc will never buy this one againReally bad experience in Paris.

2. The Swamp tours will be a additional $20 to $30 for pick up most of the hotel will help you set tours up but it's the Locals that would give you help and tell you how to save money.Never Again!!! Go City is not worth it IMHO... Had numerous issues with this pass/app.

3. Had a great time in NYC for the short time I was there! This pass is worth every penny saved me alot of money(over $100 for two people)!App is wonky, as it doesn't seem to be able to search for destinations.

4. Unlimited pass was limited, there is no way you can save money costs more than booking direct, no slots for main attractions, even when there are the agents cancel last minute.

5. Only 1 day of transport on supposed unlimited, buses full, infrequent - other companies appeared better, more buses AVOIDJust bought 2 All Inclisive passes online and then downloaded the App.

6. Have used the pass in other cities, but in Paris we were not given the correct passes and had difficulty making reservations.

7. Universal stated that since we bought the pass from Go City they, Go City, would need to refund or make monetary reimbursement.

8. Much easier to book with the pass in ParisI bought passes from this app.

9. A lot of stuff that the user just has to figure out.Used for a short trip to Boston - zero issues using the app at anything I wanted to go to, and I definitely saved money over if I had just paid for all the tickets individually.

10. Wasted a whole day trying to enjoy my vacation, I ended up canceling my passes and having to buy my passes at each individual place I went to.

11. Would definitely recommend!Don't get the pass if you go to New orleans all the locals will help you out and tell you all the places to go.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Go City Issues

1. Fix Go City Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Go City: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Go City App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Go City" » Open Go City: Travel Plan & Tickets » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Go City » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Go City: Travel Plan & Tickets app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Go City servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Go City: Travel Plan & Tickets" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Go City app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Go City might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Go City. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Go City then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Go City not working


2. Fix Go City Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Go City be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Go City not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Go City may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
